Watched Lone Survivor tonight with friends in the Ludwig theater. The movie was very good and didnt hold back on the action. What it didnt tell us was that US Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrells injuries were worse then shown in the film. When they fell down the mountain he bit his tongue in half as well as broke his shoulder. He says his face was far worse then what the actor had for makeup. After watching the movie I have to say the broken leg with the bone sticking out, being shot in the back and the fragments stuck in him body from the RPGs was pretty rough to watch as it was. It seems many Seal members demanded this film be authentic to honor the fallen and Peter Berg (director) was put on notice. Apparently he got it right because hes done many interviews along side Marcus after the release. I give this movie a 9 out of 10. I really wanted to know why the Apache helicopter were unavailable.
