Watched ‘Proloy’ today. A thought provoking movie with a wonderful start cast. Now as far as I know, this is the first non-south Indian remake, tried by Raj Chakraborty. He showed us that he is much more capable director than just one who can make good remakes only. We would expect much more from you through your future endeavors. A country gets their governance as they themselves are, as they really deserve. So, to make change in the system we must change ourselves first. Then, even though the system is absolutely corrupt and finished, the people will rise. Can anyone stop them? No. That is the message coming out of the film. Finally, I should mention about Parambrata & Saswata, two very gifted actors. The two Chattopadhays are two backbone of the movie in 2 different halves. Paran Bandopadhay & Rudranil Ghosh are perfect & flawless in their respective roles. I suppose, ‘Proloy’ is very likely to live up to its title and take the box office by a storm.
