Watched the new Godzilla. Watching the last Star Trek by JJ Abrams. Conclusions: 1) There is a right way to do too fast action movie, and Abrams can do it. 2) Bryan Cranstons awesomeness is at the mercy of a good director, and sadly, not guaranteed. 3) Abrams Star Wars will be way too fast and furious, but will stand up to repeated viewing. And may actually be pretty sweet, if he pays attention to the cutting accusations against George Lucas. 4) Its totally weird to see Zachary Quinto as Mr. Spock after his terrifying performance in American Horror Story.
