Watching Dumbo with Emily on Disney Junior. Disney would NEVER make this movie in 2014 as its so non-politically correct (drinking, smoking, animal abuse, bullying, etc). Its still one of Disneys best movies (in my opinion). TRIVIA: TIME Magazine was supposed to recognize Dumbo in its December 29, 1941 issue with a cover portrait, touting him as “Mammal of the Year” but the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 9, 1941 caused TIME changed the cover to a portrait of General Douglas MacArthur.
