Watching the House Energy and Commerce Oversight Committee: update, while answering his question, Kathleen Sebelius was told to hush because she was taking the representatives time. She also explained today that all insurance plans could remain as they were prior to the Affordable Care Act unless the insurance company changed the policy provisions. The only plans being cancelled are done so by insurance companies wanting to change the policy. The Affordable Care Act allows them to remain the same if the insurance company wanted to maintain their customer base. So when President Obama said you can keep your plan was the truth. All plans prior to the Affordable Health Care Act could have been grandfathered in if the insurance companies wanted the customers to maintain their policies. Many Representatives were shocked to learn this...hell I knew it.
