Watching the Rob Zombie version of Halloween 2 on Scy-Fy. Let me tell you why you just dont mess with Michaels persona. When Halloween came out in 1978, it was a low budget movie that John Carpenter had no intentions of making big. The reason why John Carpenters low budget classic hit #1 at the box office, was because of the way he personified Michael Myers. Look at his persona of Michael on the left, and Zombies persona of Michael on the right. Most people would be more terrified by looking out their bedroom window and seeing a man standing there staring at them from a distance, between their clothes lines wearing a pure white, fairly cleaned mask and mechanic suit as opposed to a man up close that looks like his mask has been through the ringer and bigger eyeholes to see the eyes. Michael Myers was a local, slow moving, heavy breathing, and simple killing psychopath. He was not a monstrous, fast moving, long haired, blood stained, complex killer. He didnt care about making a mess and He took his time stalking and killed quick. Come on Rob Zombie, you ruined John Carpenters creation!!!!. LOL.
