Watching the Senate Hearing on the VA: OK - I am trying to keep an Open Mind here and believe the good General will handle the VA Problems - but again... He keeps saying he has handled a number of problem children - He wont use the words Fire or Prosecute... I have a suggestion General... 1.) Have ALL of your Facility & Department Heads place a Letter of Resignation on YOUR desk in 1 hour... 2.) Arrange a 1 hour appointment for each sometime during the next month... 3.) They must justify their performance in that hour or leave their VA ID on YOUR desk as they are escorted by an armed guard off the VA Property... There - Gene fixed the problem... BTW Sir - Failure of Proper Planning on YOUR part is not acceptable... I have seen senior officers and general Staff fired in the MIlitary.. Its NOT hard to do! Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance
