Watching the Stone Roses on 4 and remembering wandering through Broadmead in the late eighties, scanning all the walls for any decent event posters, in the hope of finding something entertaining for the night. All I saw was a flyer for a bunch of weird looking cunts called The Stone Roses, at at the Bristol Beirkeller. Thought to myself they look shite and went home forlorn and disappointed that there was no Metal or Hip Hop gigs. Never really got into them fully afterwards either but, regret missing that show now, as I could have got all snobby tonight and said I was there before anyone knew em.
