Watching the movie "Fair Game," (2010) about the exposure of Valerie Plame by the Bush/Cheney White House back in 2002. Sickening, and not just because it features stock footage of Bush the Lesser on TV lying America into war. The minute you start a government agency up whose methods are lying and keeping secrets, the people you tend to attract tend to be bad people - because those are methods that bad people habitually use to cover their wrongdoing. Inevitably, when they have to choose sides, the agency will always back up someone like Cheney or Scooter Libby, and not Valerie Plame or her husband Joe Wilson. This is why the heroic James Bond-like spy is a total myth.
