Watchn 12 years a slave... Hard watchn it cuz the pain i feel from watchn how folks could treat other folks the way they did, i would be upset for anyone who went through slavery regardless of color, but since it was my people and people who look like me then i really feel some type of way... We were forced to call folks master!! A muthafuggn master!! We was separated from out children to be slaves un willfully... And they thought this was righteous.. Bidding for the strongest man standing so he could do the chores of another grown azz man... Man! The world and some of the folks in it aint shyt!! I cant lie! I cant forget the lil bit history about my ancestors and i damn sure cant believe white americas truth they taught me in school. Im proud to be Black and standing tall, cuz no race on the face of this earth has had it as hard as my people and we still continue to make strides in a unfair and unjust, prejudice system... being Black is beautiful, and it means your strong and can bounce back from anything, even being set back for hundreds years couldnt stop us...
