Water and Hearts Treasured Time and an old Memorandum ¶x32 Attraction - it is your link to life and the essence of health. There is absolutely no shame associated with Attraction other than what has been ignorantly linked to it, but this is not to say that one must act upon Attraction; Action need not follow Attraction in all circumstances. Who you are attracted to, and what exactly it is about that person that attracts you is totally beyond all control. To say that someone is attracted to another’s physicality is a very illusive observation in regards to the specifics, as is proved by a closer inspection of what physical features of any person does one find to be attractive. A person may be attracted to only one distinctive feature of someone, and only one characteristic of that feature; an attraction to the eyes, but is it the shape of the eyes, or the size, or the colour, or the depth, or the distance from one another. You could be totally mesmerized by someone simply because of their eyes, or their lips, or their hair, or their legs or feet, or their hands, or their skin, or other parts of their composition that need not be mentioned. Attraction is not biased or subject to any of the self-imposed boundaries and limitations humans place on themselves and others. Do not listen to those who are aggressive and tell you to suppress your love of Attraction; they have killed their own Soul and wish for you to do the same. Control is their aim, and Fear is their blade; they will happily cut your throat if you allow them to do so, but will also attempt to thrust a dagger into your Passions while you are distracted. Attraction is a gift that some will do their utmost to take from you, yet not for themselves, but to kill the birthright of ‘Individuality’. Anything that you cannot turn away from is that which is attractive to you – regardless of how beautiful or how vulgar your interpretation. If you cannot stop Looking at it, or Smelling it, or Listening to it, or Tasting it, or Touching it, then it is attractive to you in one form or another. Beautiful is the phenomenon of Attraction; it leads us every day as it is ignited by all five senses – Touch, Site, Smell, Hearing, and Taste. Attraction goes far beyond people to people and dominates our every step; where we live, where we work, what we buy, etc, etc. Attraction is the reason we surround ourselves with certain people, and certain objects. You can be equally attracted to someone’s voice as you would be to the smell of a flower, or to the openness of the Desert, or the dark of the night, or simply an Idea, or someone’s heart. Embrace Attraction and learn to love it, because what you are attracted to defines your individuality in so many ways; Individuality and Attraction are Sisters of the Soul.
