Water rates..! I was on the phone for a friend the other day and asked them what they are charging her for. I asked how much a person is charged using a water meter, they said 1,000qm £5,25 so I then asked so what are you calculating her bill on without a meter installed..? they said we charge a standard rate so again I asked what is this standard rate based on.? They could even answer that question. I then asked can you send her a accurate bill, and not an estimated guess please They answered we cant without a meter in, it would be impossible I left it with well..! until you do, she is not paying anything Her bill for a year was £900, then I got it down to £600 and then again to £390. This is for a year. How does one go from £900 to £390..? goes to show how many people are paying over the odds. So people, if you have no water meter they cant give to an accurate bill, so dont pay it
