Waterville, Amendment C132, is off to Planning Panels Victoria, as - TopicsExpress

Waterville, Amendment C132, is off to Planning Panels Victoria, as the Bass Coast Shire Council decided that was the best way of handling it. From Planning Panels Vic letter to submitters: "The role of the Panel is to give submitters an opportunity to be heard in an independent forum in an informal, non-judicial manner. A Panel is not a court of law. Give independent advice to the Planning Authority (BCSCouncil) and the Minister about the proposed amendment." The Directions Hearing, when we are introduced to the Panel and all the bibs and bobs get sorted out, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday 12 July 2013 at Meeting Room 1, Cowes Cultural Centre. The actual Public Hearing, when all submitters put their case, including PICS of course, will be over 2-3 days in the week commencing 29 July. The hearing is open to the public. I will post the relevant parts of the timetable when it arrives. The hearing will almost certainly be held in Melbourne. More news later.
