Waxahachie is seriously lacking a quality local newspaper. Some of the things the current paper does never ceases to amaze me. They made a post today calling Pencco, over in Bardwell, a water treatment plant. Pencco IS NOT a water treatment plant. The company manufactures and mixes chemicals for the water treatment and wastewater treatment industries, but Pencco itself does not run a water treatment plant. They are a chemical company, not water company. I wish our local newspaper would report accurate facts. This isnt just one mistake. The quality of the paper has been seriously deteriorating for at least the past few years. Its sad when the mainstream regional media does a better job at accurately covering serious things going on in our own backyard than our own local Waxahachie newspaper does.
