Way back in 1997, we bought a video game worth Rs 500. That can be connected to our dilapidated black and white Texla TV and we can play the game. The casette was 64 in 1 version. I used to like playing Goonies a lot but during those days, my elder brother would get angry if we will play it beyond a specified time. I remember I will wait till he sleeps and sneek through the video game box and slowly turn on the TV and play the game, while turning back again and again to see whether my brother is not watching me over. Now, when I have grown up, I understand that he watched me playing the game and acted as if he is sleeping. In cosy times, we both were partners in playing CONTRA and made frequent visits to the game parlor and play rupee 1 per game. Those were the times when we used to really dread the anger of our elder brother. As we turned old, we also became angry young men. Wish those times may come back. :( Dilkash
