We TORTURED some FOLKS.... I am no Conspiracy Theorist (*) but thats quiet a statement. The word Folk comes from the German Volk, which means the People. Hence: Volks Wagon = The Peoples Wagon So my questions is: Is Obama using the word just as a folksy short hand? Or is he introducing the idea of Americans being Tortured by their own Government, TO the Folk? & doing this by announcing that Theyve done it already? And what would the point of that be? We tortured some folks.... We crossed a line.... And we have to as a country take responsibility. Interesting Pronoun: We ....Who? Not We : YOU (as in: the people who identify themselves as Government) As a #Country take responsibility? Really? No, people involved in Government need to recognize their responsibility (by doing atrocious things on our behalf.). No, the Folks are not responsible for what You (the Government) does, without our consent. I personally dont think the Government should be involved in Torturing Anyone, including Folks. *I am sort of one #NoTorture #ImpeachObama #Obama #Torture
