We (YSPP) invite you to the Seattle premier of the award winning film, Nothing Against Life on April 30th at Cinerama: A Benefit for Youth Suicide Prevention Program. We were thrilled when Seattle filmmaker Julio Ramírez, director of the award winning film Nothing Against Life, reached out to us to organize the Seattle premiere of his film as a benefit for Youth Suicide Prevention Program. Nothing Against Life won the 2013 Special Jury Award Prize at the San Marino Film Festival. It is produced by Ramírez and Carl Adelson, and Dorothy Bullitt is the Executive Producer. The Northwest Film Forum has also supported the film in several capacities, and will co-presenting the premiere along with Cinerama. Set in Seattle, Nothing Against Life follows the intertwining lives of four people in what could be their last few days. The film addresses the social implications of living with depression and the stigma surrounding suicide. It stars Cynthia Geary, Fernando Noriega, Keifer Grimm, and Hilary Pickles, who, along with Ramírez, will all be at the premiere. Helping create a space for dialogue about suicide and mental health was always one of our main goals, director Julio Ramírez said. We hope you will join us on this important night. Tickets are $15. All profits from the ticket sales will be donated to Youth Suicide Prevention Program.
