We all dream of owning that nice house in that nice neighborhood so our children can grow up with a comfortable life, but in PNG, particularly Port Moresby, the real estate prices today are so unrealistically high, only corporate entities or millionaires can afford these properties. Its so frustrating to know that the middle-income earners, the people who contribute the most to the development of this country, cannot acquire their dream homes. The reality is that unless you inherit money or property, or you marry into it, or you become a millionaire, you will work hard your whole life to rent a place that a someone else owns or to pay off a mortgage. Life is hard for ordinary people.
