We all have a warm home to go to after school, and food that - TopicsExpress

We all have a warm home to go to after school, and food that awaits us at our pantry. One day as I had the day off from work, I had seen a homeless man holding a sign that read, Smile things aren’t that bad. This changed my perspective because he made me realize that when we think we are having a horrible day that in fact it is not bad at all. There are people that have less than us. They have no home, no food and no family but yet they are living their days with a smile. It was time for me to make a small but gigantic impact in my community, I decided to withdraw a few hundred dollars from my account and that I would give people that were less fortunate some money. I would do this to make their day just a little better, and believe me the outcome was meaningful. Not only did I meet some great people, but I knew for a fact that I had impacted their lives as well. The person that was most grateful of this was the woman in black, when I handed her $15 dollars and tears ran down her cheeks. Her crying made my heart stop for a couple of seconds, until they found their beat back. And that day I knew I had done something extraordinary towards the less fortunate of my community. I now invite every American to do the same. Give a couple of dollars to people that may be going through something far worst than us, think about it. How can you make their life better?
