We all have our GIVE THANKS LIST to thank God for. But there is one GIFT that is greater than any other GIFT. It a GIFT we need to focus on everyday which is THE GIFT is JESUS CHRIST and Him alone! God’s Word states that we should give “thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5:20). Please note that, as families gather together to celebrate Thanksgiving today, you are reminding your children that Thanksgiving is not just an “annual harvest festival,” but is a reminder that we should thank God at all times for His many blessings. Thanksgiving means – GIVE THANKS! 2 Corinthians 9:15 says, “Thanks be to God for His Indescribable Gift!” SO THIS THANKSGIVING SEASON LET US GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR HIS INDESCRIBABLE GIFT--JESUS! When you give Thanks you are saying GOD IS: G - GREAT (Psalm 57:10) I - IMMANUEL (Matthew 1:23) V - VICTORIOUS (Psalm 20:5) E - Everlasting (Jeremiah 31: 3) T- TRUTH (John 14:6) H- HEALER (Isaiah 53:5) A - ALPHA and OMEGA (Revelation 1:8) N - NEVER – FAILING (Amos 5:24) K - KING of KINGS (Revelation 17:14) S - SAVIOUR (Luke 2:11) HERE IS MY SONG THANK YOU LORD FOR SAVING MY SOUL. THANK YOU LORD FOR MAKING ME WHOLE. THANK YOU LORD FOR GIVING TO ME, THY GREAT SALVATION SO RICH AND FREE! Let us pray. Dear Father in Heaven, we as Christians, have so much to be thankful for. Right now, we give THANKS for THE INDESCRIBABLE GIFT—JESUS CHRIST--who died on the cross and rose again so that we can have real life and eternal life, which is in JESUS CHRIST ALONE! Lord, we also remember our brothers and sisters around the world today, who are suffering. Provide food, shelter and clothing for them today and everyday. Give them strength, courage and Your wisdom. God of all comfort, comfort them now as only You can. May they sense Your presence and peace today in a special way with thanksgiving. In Jesus Name. Amen.
