We all have troubles and issues in our lives and, at times, we are overwhelmed with them all because they seem to be coming from every direction. There will be times when we feel we have a good excuse not to do what we are supposed to do. We feel our burdens are too big and it would be better for everyone if we just didn’t follow through with what we should do. When we let the things of the world control us, satan wins. However, when we continue on despite what is going on to us or around us, God will give us the strength to see it through. It is our choice. Galatians 6:5 “For we are each responsible for our own conduct.” (NLT) Dear Lord, we know we are responsible for our own actions. We know we could each come up with a few excuses why we shouldn’t follow through with what You want us to do. Help us to remember today to follow through. Help us to steer away from excuses and not allow the devil to win. We want You to help us today to follow through with what direction You want us to go so we can be obedient and accountable to You knowing You will help us make a difference. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
