We all know partitioning in Windows is abysmal at best, but did - TopicsExpress

We all know partitioning in Windows is abysmal at best, but did you know Windows 7 wont attempt or even allow you to mount more than one partition on a removable drive - a USB stick, for instance? This is insane to me. Outside of security, which cant be the reasoning here for a multitude of reasons, why in gods name would they not allow this? The only way around it is flipping the removable hardware bit on the device (which requires proprietary and unique per-device tools) or installing a man-in-the-middle type driver to virtually flip it on mount. Asinine.
