We all know that the main driver of trying to stop the Abbot Point expansion is Global Warming which is why the Greens want the coal industry shut down because of the miniscule amount of Co2 that the burning of the coal will produce to supposedly cause Global Warming or more to the point should we say Climate Change which is what they call it now. ( In fact , that is probably more correct, because the climate does change, has done so since the beginning of time. Never caused by the burning of fossil fuels though!!) And, by the way , the amount of Co2 in the atmosphere is very tiny. About .04% So, it is very interesting that our Bureau of Meteorology has been tampering with temperature records to make it out that Australia has been warming, when in fact , in most cases the temperature has been dropping. Remember, the recent headlines. The hottest temperature on Record It makes you wonder doesnt it?? How many other countries around the world are also having their temperature records tampered with to make it out that the Earth is warming. Governments around the world have been basing these findings of a supposedly warming Earth on their policies to have more taxes such as carbon taxes etc. Wind and Solar power has taken off all around the world. Even though , it has been proven that they too are bad for the environment. And, because of these so called renewables our electricity prices have skyrocketed. Isnt it about time that some real research is done to expose the lies that have been spread all around the world by these Green groups who are pushing for wind and solar and for the banning of fossil fuels?? Interesting Fact : The hottest temperature ever recorded was in Bourke and it was a whopping 51.7 degree Celsius and was recorded on the 3rd January 1909.
