We all seem to meander through our days with “I’m fine” - TopicsExpress

We all seem to meander through our days with “I’m fine” responses when asked but, when we genuinely ask someone and look in their eyes as they systematically answer, you will see, if only fleeting, their position of ‘need’. It could be so many things, broken marriage, a child who has strayed, a broken promise, debt so large it hurts, illness, death of a loved one or it could even be the blatant lies of the accuser yelling the worthlessness of each soul. But whatever, the need, it is there. In this fallen world, we all have the ache, the longing of wholeness. Several years ago, a verse from Hebrews became very special to me during a time of need in my life. “Let us come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16) To this heart who has ached through times of pain, it is a gentle whisper that I don’t have to fear or worry about coming to God. When the gentle drops turn into raging rivers of tears, when the heart just can’t bear the next fracture before it is shattered, ask your Abba Father to hold you, to give you strength, wisdom and courage for the moment and peace to last a life time. Asking of these bold gifts is a possibility because Jesus pave the way ahead of time. His death and resurrection opened the door of the Throne Room of Grace. Walk up today with humbleness of heart and boldness of spirit. - Bold Gifts 4 a Healthy Life
