We also went on a beautiful 4 mile hike up the mountain to Island Lake yesterday. It is 940 feet up and sits at an elevation of 9,700 feet! Holy leg day!! We decided not to do the Lamoille Lake hike because we wanted to try a new route to challenge ourselves. I wasnt able to jump in the water when we got there due to a storm cloud rolling in and the temperature dropping so much, but it was still a beautiful hike and we even made another little furry friend when we got there! He shared our picnic food with us! So cute!! =)
