We appreciate the generosity and genuineness of your heartfelt sentiments about what we are going through regarding having to put our beloved Pumpkin to sleep this past weekend. She has left a void that can never be filled. We will comment more at a later time about her and about our appreciation for all of you, when our spirits are quelled. To show that when it rains it pours, our precious Daphne [who has become acculturated to our household because of the high quality stewardship of her surrogate mommy Pumpkin] has been a bit stumped and unsettled by the abrupt disappearance of her beloved Pumpkin, so we have given her even more attention than usual [if that is possible]. To that end, in our play she was running around the back yard at the veritable speed of exuberant light yesterday, and crashed into a log, and promptly broke her toe, yelpingly! She is now cast-bound for two weeks!!! Dont get it wet and dont let her chew on it! Uh..., yeah, right! Happy Fourth Month of your Life, sweet Daphne!
