We are 5 weeks away from the proposed date 17th January 2015 for the NSL Kick Off and still all Franchises are in the dark.. Rumors have it that the first games are set but not the entire draw for the season so how can that be possible. With the competition going for the 10th year why dont the NSL and PNGFA do something big and special to celebrate the milestone of our very own semi pro league. This is why you have qualified individuals to do what they are capable of doing in terms of marketing this competition. It still keeps me guessing who the Marketing and communications officers are for NSL as its the same officers doing everything. There are no signs off promotion or awareness for the up coming season which does not run for half the year and yet we face so many problems and delays throughout the season. With Mr Lupari as the Chairman you will think with his status you can be able to get a lot of corporate sponsors on board but yet its the same old sponsors and government grants we receive year in year out.. We dont even have corporate launching of this to event anymore just to show appreciation for the hard work and support the sponsors of the Franchises go through each year which they give more and receive less.. Its time PNGFA should wake up and look at the bigger and brighter side of how we can be able to help promote and improve the the standard of NSL and probably try and compare and improve our competition with neighboring countries so that we can see where we are going wrong. Apart from all this I appreciate the concept of this competition where it has discovered a lot of young talented players of which we really need to nurture, develop and try to expose them more.. Well over to you PNGFA and it will be good if the draws can be finalized soon as the teams have already been confirmed and also if you can start planning your administration and logistics matters which need to be sorted for the season and hopefully and try make sure all jerseys be given before the season n not after as the burden of expenses for the season is on the Franchises.
