At 6am: We have thick cloud swirling in and out of the basin with visibility fluctuating between 10m and 200m. Very light winds in the base area and 15km/h winds at the summit. The forecast: A damp, murky day with periods of light rain or snow possible. Visibility is likely to be a real challenge today and could limit lift operations to the Quad chair and Magic carpet for long periods.
