We are OPEN this SUNDAY 4th May and Bank Holiday Monday for our annual SHEARING OPEN DAYS. We will have extended opening from 11-4pm. (Please note we are CLOSED Saturday 3RD MAY). Watch our experienced shearer Neil at work shearing the sheep, and see/feel the difference in their fleeces. Neil will be working both days, and is more than happy to answer questions on his profession. Most ewes have had their lambs, but this year has been a bumper year for lambing with more lambs born this week, and we still have a few due to give birth imminently. Goslings, chicks and ducklings are still hatching, and the latest hatch will be in handling for the all important cuddles! More goat kids have been born as well, so a full day of baby animal antics is a guarantee. As always, the Old Dairy will be serving freshly cooked hot food and scrummy cakes throughout the day.
