AUDIENCES & CRITICS are UNANIMOUS! You DONT want to MISS THIS ONE! AUDIENCES: Run, dont walk to see this GREAT show! This cast makes it their own, and the staging makes you feel as if youre in the jury room with them. Bravo to the cast and crew! I just left the 12 Angry Men show. It was great! This was also my first experience here. I will definitely be back! Maybe even to see the same play! If you havent seen TWELVE ANGRY MEN yet, get yourself to the Lakewood Playhouse to see it while you can. Nearly everyone knows the now classic story, but this production has a uniformly fine cast, including some new (to Lakewood)ones, all of whom dress the stage so well. Speaking of dress, costumes are by Alex Lewington, so you know they are accurately done. Amazing show--Powerful acting! Lakewood Playhouse is a small theater with BIG talent! If you enjoy good theater, Id highly recommend Twelve Angry Men at Lakewood Playhouse...Solid, riveting, fast-paced. Loved the show! Acting was brilliant! Theater is intimate and comfortable, also designed perfectly as there is not a bad seat in the house!!! Saw 12 Angry Men at the Lakewood Playhouse. A brilliant job reviving a dramatic and all too relevant tale. Bravo to all involved with 12 Angry Men at Lakewood Playhouse. What a powder keg of a show. Go see it. CRITICS: “12 Angry Men,” now playing at Lakewood Playhouse, is as dramatic, engrossing and relevant today as it was 60 years ago when it premiered on CBS Television’s “Studio One... The writing by Reginald Rose, the direction by Victoria Webb, and the ensemble acting are all stupendous...I can’t recommend “12 Angry Men” highly enough. --Alec Clayton ( The News Tribune ) The Playhouse is the perfect venue to host such a claustrophobic setting. The tight, cramped jury room only gets smaller as heads collide and tensions rise, and the audience becomes acutely aware of just how small the stage is, giving an almost meta view into how close and personal the discourse is becoming. You really do feel as though you are a part of the proceedings. It would be easy for the play to fall apart if one actor were to be off, the whole play can come apart, it’s not as though a weak actor is only in a few scenes, the jurors are a constant presence. Luckily, the Lakewood Production actors fire on all cylinders and deliver an engaging, emotional experience. -- Derek Shuck ( Tacoma Weekly ) There are many pleasures to be found in Lakewood Playhouses 12 Angry Men. Once again, the stage set-up allows for wandering eyes to pick out little pieces of action as cliques are formed in the jury and asides in the washroom really feel like overheard conversations...There is still something inherently compelling in watching a group of men learn to take a humans life seriously. -- Rev. Adam McKinley ( Weekly Volcano ) The heat, the powerful arguments strip away the veneer covering the emotions of the “12 Angry Men,” layer by layer finally revealing each man’s conscience while finding truth and reality. This is a good production of a powerful play. Don’t miss it. - Lyn Geyer ( The Suburban Times ) You can read the LATEST REVIEW by CLICKING the LINK Below! ONLY 3 SHOWS LEFT! FRIDAY.
