We are all looking forward to Transforming with Poetry this evening at Inkwell! Poetry performed by their authors. With interlude by song-writer and guitarist Eddie Lawler. During the event, the beautiful short poetry film Forgotten Memory will be presented to all our friends by poet Siobhan Mac Mahon. The film has been a joyful and collaborative project, created by bringing together artists & poet/translators from many different countries and cultures to create a multi-lingual tapestry of languages, including dance and signing. It is a calling to remember ‘The deep well of our belonging/ The Holy Mystery of our lives’. The film reflects the rich and beautiful diversity of the many cultures in our world, united in both lament for the Earth and in the hope of ‘Dreaming a new world into being’. Do come and help us celebrate this lovely film as well as hear the poets and listen to some lovely music. Free entry. Drinks available.
