We are back at home and almost intoxicated by the power we possess! We just got back from Tuscumbia, AL where we spent the weekend at the Seven Springs Lodge. It had been three years since I had been and Michael had never been. We took Chico and Fiesta for a weekend of rigorous riding, toning and muscle building. In spite of the 5-10% chance for rain when we left, it rained every day. We did manage to ride around the showers, though. Got about an hour and a half ride in Friday afternoon after it rained all morning and about a three hour ride yesterday before it started raining. Back to our amazing power-we have realized that, regardless of the forecast, whenever we hook up the big trailer and haul horses, it is going to rain. Therefore, starting next summer when the dry season starts, we are going to hire out and travel to places that need rain. We cant lose and, once we have established our reliability, we can name our price! In spite of all, we got some good riding in (just not enough!) and were delighted with the two who had never done anything like that before (and werent too sure they could do it). LOL
