We are back at it!!! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. Lets talk oil. When do you have your oil changed? How often should you? We suggest 3000 mile for conventional oil and not because we just want you back because we like you so much. Fresh oil is as critical on engines now as it has always been. Sure our engine are much cleaner than they we 20 years ago but oil still gets dirty. Now we have engines with variable valve timing, smaller oil passages and overhead cam. What does all of this mean? Fresh oil is very important. We have seen many issues evolve due to dirty/ nasty oil. 4 cylinders are very popular now. These little gas sippers really need fresh oil. Why? Well, all the reasons stated above and the fact that they hold so little oil. Dont forget about all these turbo cars too. So what does all of this really mean though? Dont overlook that pesky oil change that you need done every 3000 miles. Keep your car alive. Oh and to really make it seem worth doing, we look at all of your fluids, tire condition, belts and many other items when we change you oil and we inform you of other little issues that may be coming up with you beloved ride.
