We are back at the Ronald Mcdonald house our morning did not go well..I got up got Jc changed and was getting ready to shower and boom...Jcs stats were dropping vent alarming then I looked at him his lips were purple and he kept putting his tounge in between his teeth...he could not breath.I tried suction then I attached oxygen then I just decided to pull the vent off and bag him...I could barely get air to move..I had my mom get with the front desk and call 911..Fire and rescue showed up until the ambulance got here..His trach was just so plugged up no air was getting through ..I changed a trach on my own and guess what?? He is good.. Marybeth with Kosair was bound determined I was going to do it so I had the courage the next time..Thank goodness I could do it..We are back he is stating wonderful and we are just going to pretend this day was a bad dream..Tomorrow is a new day!!!~ faith of a mustard seed...
