Accounting Analyst – 9 positions Auditor – 1 position Chief Auditor - 1 position Financial Analyst - 1 position JD - A/C ANALYST Job Title: Accounting Analyst, AOS Minimum Requirements: • To conduct analysis exercise in the areas of general ledger, payroll and payables, billing and receivables, fixed assets, projects and cash accounting to ensure proper accounting treatment, charging of cost elements in accordance with government regulations, Saudi Accounting and International Accounting standards and to support the statutory monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports. • Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles, theories and practice on financial & cost. • Knowledge in SOCPA and International Accounting standards. • Knowledge in GOSI (General Organisation Social Insurance – Saudi insurance for retirement benefits) and DZIT (Department of Zakka and Income Tax) regulations. • Basic internal control concepts and management accounting. • International financial reporting standard (IFRS). • Basic management principles. Duties & Responsibilities: General Ledger: •Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting entries for business month end closing. •Preparation of analytical schedules of General Ledger accounts needed for the preparation of financial statements for audit and submission to Capital Market Authority purposes. •Reconciliation and preparation of monthly bank accounts, Withholding Tax returns for remittance to DZIT. •Handling of outstanding bank accounts reconciling items. •Reconciliation of inventories. •Preparation of the annual ZAKAT/Income Tax returns for submission to DZIT. •Relief assignment for accounting analyst staff on vacation. Payroll Accounting: •. Analyze monthly increase/decrease of payroll accounts for PR employees and Secondees. •Reconciliation of monthly GOSI and Savings Plan contributions •Conduct SAP Payroll System logic testing for new employee’s benefits and payroll deductions in accordance with HR policies. •Preparation of final settlement for terminated employees. •Preparation of analytical schedules of payroll accounts needed for the preparation of financial statements for audit purposes. Payables Accounting: •Review and post in SAP Systems accounting entries for vendors processed invoices, debit and credit notes. • Review and analyze vendor accounts and payable clearing accounts. •Preparation of aging of vendors accounts. •Preparation of reclassification and adjusting entries for errors. •Preparation of analytical schedules of vendor accounts needed for the preparation of financial statements for audit purposes. •Relief assignment for accounting analyst staff on vacation. Billing and Receivables Accounting: •Monitoring of monthly selling price update and listed quantities delivered to customers. •Review and analyze customer account balances. •Reconciliation and review of non-trade receivable accounts. •Preparation of aging of customers’ accounts. •Preparation of sales reports. •Relief assignment for accounting analyst staff on vacation. Fixed Assets & Projects Accounting: •Monitoring of capital project costs. •Preparation of reclassification and adjusting entries for erroneous charges to projects. •Preparation of detailed capital asset list for capitalization in each capital project. •Preparation of allocation of project cost to various capital assets for capitalization in each capital project. •Preparation of asset records for capital assets for capitalization in each capital project for uploading in SAP System. •Preparation of capital project reports requested by proponents and Management. JD - CHIEF AUDITOR The Role and Ideal Candidate • The role With the continued investment and expansion of activities management have identified a need to hire a Chief Auditor. Reporting to the General Auditor (GA), as a member of the Internal Audit Office, the Chief Auditor is to help provide an audit framework and promote professional audit standards. Managing a team of auditors the Chief Auditor is to lead the execution of audits in conformance with professional and Company standards, budgets and timelines to detect any mismanagement, fraud or waste. • Key Responsibilities • Audit execution and follow up. • Pre and post audit Reviews. • Assist in developing and, gathering, analyzing and updating relevant data for risk assessment. • Reports to GA. • Prepare the draft annual audit plan in coordination with the GA and monitor implementation • Review and finalize the audit report for GA approval. • Review & sign-off working papers in TeamMate and review the Audit Completion Report for General Auditor’s approval. • Leadership, Assessment and Management of Subordinate Auditors. • The ideal person The ideal Candidate for this role is a seasoned finance or accounting with considerable expertise and a successful track record of auditing in large complex corporate environments. This auditing experience will have been gained over a period of at least 10 years, ideally in international roles of increasing responsibility, of which the last five years have been at a semi-senior level in a large multinational entity or Big 4 auditing firm. JD - FINANCIAL ANALYST Here are some detailed points of what is required from the “Financial Analyst” : • Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or related degree • 12 - 16 years of professional accounting experience • Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial theory, principles and practices. • Computer literacy in MS excel, MS word and financial packages. • To provide financial analysis and support in banking operations/cash management activities with the aim of ensuring that financial transactions are in accordance with corporate policies and guidelines. • Regular review of due and outstanding obligations and proper scheduling and execution of payments. • Coordinate within company organizations/departments in matters related to financial instruments safekeeping and liaise between proponents and banks involving LC applications and processing. • Coordination with different financial institutions both local and outside the kingdom on matters related to financial documents and transactions. • Actively play role in support of other organization’s programs which involve Treasury on its implementation, such as TSP, ESS, among others • Assist in analyzing and assessing permitted investment tools, and assist supervisors in drawing logical conclusions in taking the proper decision to enhance the financial position of the company. • Coordinate between Marketing and OAS- Accounts Receivable group in matters related to customer payments and collection reports. • Implement and observe organizational operational standards set by, Internal Audit, IMS, SHE & S and Security.
