We are constrain to call on madam Massah Roberts the Commissioner of the township of Congo Town to do due diligent to the people of the township by organizing a township meeting as stipulated by chapter 5 (82) of the Liberian code of Laws. But on the opposite, she has join the band wagon of some elements who have perpetuated themselves in authority at the level of the township at the disadvantage of the citizenry. However, chapter 5 (s82) of the Liberian Code of Laws which states; " A township meeting shall be held in each township annually on the first Tuesday in october for election of township officers who hold elective offices, for levying taxes necessary for the township purposes, and for enacting laws and regulations for the government of the township etc. As the chairman of the objective Intellectual Of Lliberia (OIL) we take serious exception to the imposition of fees on the already suffering market men and women of our township hence, we call on the government of Liberia through the National legislature, the Ministry of Internal affairs and the offices of the Superintendent of Montserrado County to see reasons to intervence on behave of our people as this has the propensity to undermine the (PRS) as well as the just started peace we are enjoying. It is our conviction that every Liberian will join us in this struggle as we remained obstinate and gurralous on the issue of corruption, and at the same time, we wish to provide the entire copy of chapter 5 of the Liberian Coed Of Laws which is titled; "Townships" to any person wanting it. All hail...............Liberia hail...............this glorious land of liberty........ shall long be ours.
