We are currently collecting coloured milk bags (the outer bag from 4 litre bags of milk) which is an ongoing project to support Haiti earthquake survivors. They are shipped to Haiti where they are used to crochet mats, handbags, slippers and much more! They are durable, water resistant, and keep parasites away from the body of the person either sitting or sleeping on them. Please collect your dry (they don’t need to be washed) flattened bags at home and bring them in to us by August 16th. It takes approximately 500 bags to make a mat so each bag counts!
