We are currently looking into building a set of tree house retreats in Africa, we are looking at The Gambia as the first option on the banks of the River Gambia, but also have great links in Kenya and South Africa. We have various leading tour operators having expressed an interest in creating links, where they currently provide quality holidays for people in the U.K, including organisations that provide holidays in U.K tree houses. All of this should prove a success once all the relevant funding is sourced and agreed, and legalities adhered to. We would look to use completely local materials in local styles that fit in with the local environment completely, with local skilled craftsmen making it magical, and importantly providing jobs for the surrounding community. All the retreats would have an open fire grill for cooking, and be totally self sustaining with fresh fruit and vegetables, and all fish and meat caught on a daily basis, with professional tours and adventures organised to make it thriving, colourful and full of life, with views from every tree house undoubtedly magical. We would use local knowledge, and discretion used to find the very best location, to make it a dream to visit, and simply drift into the most magical landscapes on earth, with mystical sunsets and starlit skies illuminating the soul, and ensuring a return visit is paramount in the mind to anyone who visits.
