We are currently pulling our resources together yet again, a set of strangers, whom in the spontaneous and heartfelt effort to do what is right, are going to continue to fight to make sure the truth is made known. We did not find a dog in the pipe. The pipe was one length, several feet in length. We got a pool pump around 4:30AM that pumped the water out of the backend of the drain. No dog in sight. IF there was a dog that was inducing the barking since Tuesday, it was not there when we did a sweep of the drain. People from all over metro Atlanta pulled the items they had together to do the dirty work that the public safety, fire department and animal control were not willing to do. Why pay for something when you can get up and do it yourself and make a difference? This will not be the last time I go waist deep in gross, muddy contaminated water to rescue someone or something in need. Regardless of the hour drive to get to the drain, regardless of clearing out after 6:15AM to watch the sunrise, every bit of action was well worth it! Thank you to my fellow friends that I have made through this ordeal.
