We are deeply saddened to have to share this news with you. We have just received word from Dr. Carolyn Love, on behalf of the Harding family, that our beloved Dr. Vincent Harding passed away today at 5:11 PM EDT at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He was surrounded by his daughter Rachel, wife Aljosie, other family, and friends. Plans for a memorial will be communicated as they are arranged. In the days ahead, much will be shared about Dr. Hardings courageous and compassionate life. Vincent was a guiding force in the lives of all who knew him. More than a friend or colleague, Vincent was a champion for what is just in our world. As we absorb this news, may we give thanks for the Beloved Community that he faithfully held before us.
