We are deeply saddened to report that today, July 12th, at approximately 4:17pm a person was struck and killed by a locomotive at Mid-Continent Railway Museum. The incident is currently under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office. The name of the individual is being withheld pending notification of kin. [This Facebook page is maintained by museum volunteers without authority to speak on behalf of the organization in such matters. Therefore, no further information about the incident will be posted here unless it is an official public statement from authorized museum officials.
