We are delighted to announce that the Lower School teachers received a SCHEV grant in the amount of $1,000. The grant was awarded by Randolph College, and the money will be used to reinforce concepts presented in physical science class, including the study of force and motion. Funds will also be used to purchase K’NEX, Hot Wheels cars and track, and electrical Snap Circuit sets. Lastly, the grant will support a field trip to the Roanoke Science Museum.
