We are doing some emergency transfers today. Three Elders are going home a couple of weeks early so they can enter school on time. They have been great missionaries and are going to be missed by everyone here in Cuiabá. For their service, the church helps them by loaning them money for education, interest free. They are only asked to pay it back after they graduate and begin working. Other church members around the world also donate to the fund which helps it grow and help even more. Its called the Perpetual Education Fund (PEF), has helped thousands obtain an education, lift themselves up, and become greater assets to their family, community, and church.
