We are doing well and thank you to the many friends whove shared this link on facebook and supported The New Victory Theater by giving a kid a seat to a show. 35,000 NYC school kids come to our school time performances and work with our wonderful Teaching Artists each year. For many, this is their only arts and their only chance to go to the theater. I think it matters. $35 gives a kid that experience. -- On a personal note, I remember my dad and mom taking me to my first show very well. It was Lorelei starring Carol Channing. We were in the first row of the mezz. I remember being very little and the beautiful embellished theater, just like the one I have the honor to work for now. I remember how grand it was and how it felt when the musicians began to play and she came out covered in sparkling jewels. It guided the rest of my life.
