We are done with the meeting. Whit is going home on Monday. We still have no way of knowing which way this will go. We are doing our best to hold onto faith and hope. I cried most of the way through this meeting. I did my best not to. I failed miserably! She will come home with home health nurses, oxygen, catheters, O2 sensor, IV meds. We are going to leave the central line in her chest for awhile. We will have a follow up in 2 weeks after going home unless it is needed before then. We are going to be using a new portal for emails to the staff. It will track how long it takes them to respond etc. I sure like this idea! Then we cannot be ignored anymore. Once she is home, I do not mind visitors. All I ask is that you not be sick, around anyone who has been sick recently, no sniffles , sore throats or anything. I am going to have to go home and get her room ready for her to come home and for the delivery of all sorts of medical equipment. This is scary for us. It is a lot on me wondering how I am supposed to do it all. Work and care for Whit. God will bring us through this. He brought us to it. He will provide a way! My main focus is Whit. I have a lot of work to do to get ready for Monday. I am thinking of leaving tomorrow morning to get ready for this big event. I will come back tomorrow night. I have to be prepared for this. Keep the prayers going. We love all of you very much. Words cannot express the thanks we give for everyone who has been with us on this journey. Her room was flooded with cards and a big box today from Jennifer Cox. The outpouring of love is amazing! It does not go unnoticed. I will have to do a thank you status one day and name everyone! That might take me all day! LOL Once we get home, we will update when we can. As you can imagine, it will be a busy time. Again, thank you for all the love. Our focus now is trying to get Whit past this and get her better. Oh Lord we pray. We are speaking to that mountain of rejection and it MUST MOVE! God bless and keep the prayers going up!
