We are entering one of the most sacred times of the year. Whether we believe in the birth of Jesus or not, this is a sacred time because its a time that tries to unite us in the most perfect and joyous way. A season of possibilities in the midst of more darkness than daylight and in the worst cases the bitter cold of winter. What this time of year means to each of us is personal yet we can all acknowledge something spiritual is present among us. One of my favorite times of year also because I can listen to songs that on the surface appear to be only about a story that transpired a couple thousand years ago about a young woman probably in one of the most vulnerable states one could find themselves in especially for that day and age, and when you listen deeper find that its a story about each of us, in our sacred journeys. We all carry a divine light thats meant to manifest a gift to share with the world. We often dont feel worthy of it and yet we have been given the inward strength that helps us to go the distance...... My hope for all this season is that we enter a time of silent prayer and go deeper with what this season means to us and how we want to manifest our love to others.
