We are excited for our new adventure that awaits us in Oregon. But I feel it important to leave a love note to my home city. Here are 5 things I will miss about Cedar City. 1. Our House. We painted, repaired, planted a garden, mowed lawns, got pregnant, and had our darling girl within the 4 years we lived there. 2. The area, Cedar City. I am so glad my parents made the decision to move to Cedar, thanks Mom and Dad! ;)I met my husband here, attended high school, SUU, found a career path, and met wonderful artists, actors, and designers who Im proud to call friends and colleagues. 3. My Job. I will miss Teaching the students of Cedar High School. I loved the hard work, the drama, the passion, and the energy of adolescents. Every time I step foot into a classroom, I know its where Im meant to be. 4. The Farm. Every Sunday Joe, Joanna, and myself visit the farm. Joanna helps her daddy milk and feed the cow, she always points at the brush and insists daddy picks her up so she can brush the cow. We look at the pigs, sheep, and horses. She then helps grandma gather eggs. I will miss the atmosphere and work, but most of all I will miss Joanna not being able to help every week. 5. The people. I will miss the people the most. I have met so many friends while attending school. I am grateful for consistent friendships that have lasted and grown over the years and also thankful for the new ones. My family. :) I will miss them most. They are supportive, encouraging, and always so giving, even little Emree welcomes me with open arms. I love you all.
