We are excited to announce our new project, the "Ambassadors Sing for Peace," a world peace-themed CD with 5 prominent Ambassadors to the UN who step out of their usual roles and utilize the power of the arts to promote peace. Under the music direction of Emmy Award-winning composer, arranger and choral conductor Gary Fry, five Ambassadors to the United Nations step out of their usual roles and utilize the soft power of the arts to promote peace. The CD contains covers of twelve familiar songs promoting world peace, hope, and togetherness for the troubled times that we all inhabit. This is an important, diplomatic and artistic effort for all time. The five Singing Ambassadors featured on the CD include: H.E. Ambassador Guillermo E. Rishchynski, Permanent Representative of Canada to the UN; H.E. Ambassador Antonio Pedro Monteiro Lima, Permanent Representative of Cape Verde to the UN; H.E. Ambassador Eduardo Ulibarri, Permanent Representative of Costa Rica to the UN; H.E. Ambassador Marlene Moses, Permanent Representative of Nauru to the UN; H.E. Ambassador Simona Miculescu, Permanent Representative of Romania to the UN. The Album is produced by Friendship Ambassadors Foundation, Inc. as part of its 40th anniversary celebration; in partnership with the Gary Fry/High Touch Music, the SAE Institute of Technology New York, and the Permanent Mission of Romania to the United Nations. Funds raised from sales will be used in creating The Youth Assembly at the United Nations Scholarship, which aims to help minimizing the opportunity gap between the youth who have the access, skills and opportunities to make an impact on their community at a young age and those who do not.
