We are extremely excited for our dancers to showcase their skills at the recitals tomorrow, Dec. 6th. Our desire is for you and your child to have a wonderful experience at the recitals. PLEASE LOOK OVER THE SCHEDULE AND READ THE FOLLOWING REMINDERS CAREFULLY TO ENSURE THE RECITALS RUN SMOOTHLY: Times: ***STUDENTS NEED TO ARRIVE A MINIMUM OF 15 MINS BEFORE THE RECITAL TIMES. IT IS CRUCIAL TO THE SUCCESS OF OUR RECITALS FOR THEM TO ARRIVE EARLY. You might even want your child to watch the recital before theirs so s/he can see what to expect and will feel more comfortable on stage since they have never practiced in this environment. 10:00-10:30 Ripley Do Dahs/Covenant 10:45-11:15 Kids Are Cool/Kidz Kare 11:30-12:00 Elite Learning/Miss Robins/Kid’s Kingdom 12:15-12:45 Teachers Touch/Oakwood Methodist/Westminister 1:00-1:45 lunch break 1:45-2:15 Sugar-N-Spice/Trinity Learning Center 2:30-3:00 Hope Lutheran 3:15-3:45 Calvary Important Reminders: 1) LOCATION OF RECITALS: Cooper West Elementary Address is: 10101 Fulton Avenue Lubbock, TX 79424. The school is just south of 98th street with the playground facing Frankford. 2) What to wear: White leotard, red tights, white ballet shoes for girls and black pants with a red shirt for boys. We will provide the tutu for them to wear for the recital. If you bought a tutu, then you can bring it for pictures, and all students will wear the set we have for the recitals so we dont get confused as to which child borrowed ours and which ones brought one. We do not have a required style for dancers hair; however, I recommend putting it in a bun or out of the face so its not a distraction while they are dancing. Any headband or hair bow that matches the Red dance skirt and tights will work fine. 3) What to Bring- 1) Donation for the facility use of Cooper West Elementary (we are grateful they dont charge an expensive building fee & want to bless them with using their facility). 2) Picture money of $30 if you choose to purchase pictures at the recital 3) New or gently used jacket, backpack or school supplies for Lubbock Impact would be greatly appreciated if you can bring an item for our supply drive. 4) If your childs ballet shoes are at their childcare center, dont forget to pick them up TODAY. 5) We left the recital attire exchanges at the schools this week, so please be sure to pick those up!
