Well, its easy! You can participate in the Maternity Care Consumers of Albertas upcoming event, which will be held in locations across Alberta. Find one near you at... eventbrite.ca/o/maternitycare-consumers-of-alberta-network-mcan-6815616673 In fact, this event addresses certain priorities set out by the Lancet articles, including fostering interprofessional collaboration, and addressing the disrespect and abuse of women in childbirth, by creating an arena for the voices of women and maternity care consumers to be heard. This is sure to be a very positive and groundbreaking event: (MCAN) is undertaking a “Listening Campaign” to identify maternity care priorities and strengthen relationships. Besides relational meetings with key stakeholders, we are carrying out an online survey https://surveymonkey/s/2VXJHTV. Insights will lead MCAN to develop initiatives, campaigns and programs to advance maternity care in Alberta.
